From scan to action

Three clear steps: scan it, understand it, decide what to do next.

The product is built around real paperwork. You capture or import a page, the app extracts text, and you review a plain-language explanation with deadlines, amounts, and next actions.

Capture or import

Take a photo or attach an existing image. The app is built around real-world paperwork, not generic note taking.

Camera + import
Extract and explain

Extracted text is analyzed to produce a structured summary, a simpler explanation, important facts, amounts, and references.

Summary + next steps
Review before acting

AI can help you spot deadlines and likely actions, but you should still verify important details before making a legal, financial, or administrative decision.

Deadlines + human review
Trust and transparency

Clear limits, billing rules, and data handling matter as much as the AI itself.

Scan2Summary is an informational tool, not legal advice. It helps people interpret paperwork, reduce stress, and spot likely next steps, but users should verify high-stakes details before acting.

We use third-party AI services to analyze document text.

AI

AI analysis

AI is used to analyze extracted document text and return a summary, simpler wording, important steps, deadlines, amounts, and reference numbers.

LC

What is processed locally

OCR may run locally on supported iPhone builds before any analysis request is sent.

SV

What goes to the server

Extracted text is sent to our servers together with page count, locale, app language, and relevant image metadata so the service can generate and store results.

!

Limits of AI output

AI explanations can be incomplete or wrong. Scan2Summary does not make fully automated decisions for you, and it should not be your only source for legal or financial action.

DL

Deletion requests

Users can delete their account directly in the app. Individual analyses can also be deleted where the app exposes that action, and support is available if the in-app flow is inaccessible.

CR

Credits and subscriptions

One analyzed page consumes one credit. Credits can come from subscriptions, one-time credit packs, welcome grants, or other promotional balances shown in the app.

16+

Age suitability

The service is built for adults handling administrative paperwork. It is not intended for children under 16 without parental or guardian involvement.

FAQ

Questions people usually ask before trusting document AI.

These answers explain how the app handles AI analysis, billing, storage, and account controls.

Does the app replace a lawyer, accountant or public office?

No. Scan2Summary is an interpretation helper. It is designed to explain documents in simpler language and point to likely next steps, but users should still verify high-stakes decisions with the relevant authority or professional.

Does the app store my analyses?

Yes. Analyses may be stored on the server so users can reopen previous results, keep history, and sync billing or account state until they delete the data.

What exactly is charged by credits?

One analyzed page uses one credit. If a document has three pages, it uses three credits. Credits may come from monthly subscriptions, one-time credit packs, welcome credits, or promotional grants shown in the app.

Can I use the app without registration?

Yes. The mobile app is designed guest-first. Users can start in anonymous mode and link an email account later if they want persistent account access.

Does the app translate documents too?

Yes. The product concept and analysis flow are built around explaining and translating paperwork so users can understand what the document says and what matters.

Can important dates be saved to my calendar?

Yes. When the app detects a deadline, it can surface it separately and help you save it as a reminder, but you should still verify the date in the original document.

How do I delete my account?

Delete your account directly in the app from Settings. If you cannot access the app, use the support page for help verifying ownership and completing deletion.
